We think of Indulgence as a “Level 5” party, inspired by the leveling system used by Empowered Pleasure (no relation to Indulgence). Their four levels are:
Level 1
Educational or social, fully clothed event limited to vanilla social touch, such as handshakes or hugs.
Level 2
Event focused on increased sensuality where being topless is fine, but genitals stay covered and there is no genital touch.
Level 3
Clothing optional event where sexual energy is exchanged without a particular goal, no penetration, and no specific agenda.
Level 4
Event that allows for the possibility of full sexual expression (but without expectation or obligation of doing so). Most play parties and clubs we are aware of fall into this level.
At Indulgence, our parties go beyond that:
Level 5
Event focused on communal, mindful group play. Participants actively and enthusiastically engage with the intention of playing with a broad number of other participants.
